I graduated with a PhD in Polymer Engineering from the University of Akron in August, 2020. I have earned two MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering, one from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2016 and another from Tuskegee University in 2008. After completion of my PhD program, I have worked in Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. as a materials Scientist from March, 2021 to March, 2023. My teaching experiences in graduate schools as a teaching practicum student and as a teaching assistant for many years have not only taught me the art of teaching, but also have inspired me to choose teaching as a profession.
