Hello! I am a sophomore with senior standing at Stony Brook University majoring in biochemistry with minors in South Asian studies and health, wellness, and society all while on the premed track. I have loved to be a part of the classroom ever since I started school and have been a teacher's assistant since the fourth grade. I have been an instructor of Wave Learning and taught high school level regents chemistry to a class of 30 and taught the foundations of chemistry, periodic table trends, and nuclear chemistry. I have been a teacher's assistant in my senior year of high school to a 9th grade English class and gave extra attention to students with special needs and made sure that they understood the concepts of the day. I now am a teacher's assistant to a college level classical Indian music class where I have been teaching, creating assessments, and meeting with students to ensure that they understand the history and culture behind this type of music. I have always loved learning as a student as well as giving back by teaching what I have learned especially through analogies that students like me would understand.
