Certified Tutor

I received my B.A. in Hispanic Studies from the University of Houston, and my M.A. in Spanish Language and Literatures from the University of Colorado Boulder. There, I first experienced being an instructor, as I taught beginning-level Spanish courses to undergraduate students. The satisfaction that I obtained from teaching pushed me to pursue other opportunities as a tutor, and later led me into a career in education. Now, I am a sixth grade Reading teacher, helping bilingual students and English-language learners become critical and proficient readers. My passion for language and joy for teaching has brought me to look for additional opportunities as a tutor.
