My areas of tutoring expertise are Russian as a second language, ESL (English as a second language), and Composition/Creative Writing.

I have an M.A. in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, and have taught Russian as a second language since 2014 as a private tutor and as a university instructor. I have lived extensively in the Russophone world and Russian is spoken regularly in my home.

I began teaching English as a second language in 2012, primarily as an online tutor but also in the formal classroom setting. I have worked with all age groups and all levels and had great success with my methods.

Creative Writing/Composition - I have more than a decade of experience workshopping literary writing as well as tutoring students in academic composition.
