I am a graduate of the two-time
(back-to-back) national championship winners - The University of Georgia. I have worked with students K-8 for seven years and have taught all subject areas.

My favorite subject to tutor is Math. Even though math was not my favorite subject as a child, I enjoy it now, because LOTS of practice has made it less scary. This is why I try to encourage students to spend time practicing their math skills. I see students all the time only focus on the 'numbers' and are scared to complete assignments. I want to help take that fear away.

It may seem cliche, but math is everywhere. My strategy is to make math make sense. By realizing the importance of math in everyday life and that you use math every day, math will become less scary. Yes, you do math every day.
