I recently graduated from Shippensburg University, where I attained my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with minors in Data Science and Human Communications. There, I worked for the math department and tutored students weekly in a variety of different math courses including College Algebra, Applied Math, Applied Stats, Calculus, and more. I've worked with students one-on-one and in small groups. I really enjoyed tutoring and helping fellow students and would love to continue that. I can help with most levels of math. I'm fresh out of school so I can help with some higher-level math courses that are still fresh in my brain, as well.

Math can be a very challenging and frustrating subject for some people and I've heard too many times from people: "I'm just not good at math". I want to help students gain some confidence in their ability "to do math". I want to use my passion for the subject to help students who may be struggling or just need a little extra assistance. Everyone is at a different place in math. I've learned to adapt to the students, where they are in the subject and what they need from me determines how I'll help and work with them. I'm willing to change my approach and find what works for them so they can really understand what they are doing and learning so they can then "do the math" on their own. Or I can just be a helping hand along the way.
