Certified Tutor

As a former high school business teacher of six years, with 15+ years of experience tutoring K-5 students in Math, Reading, and Writing, I'm excited to join the Varsity Tutors platform and share my knowledge with students who need additional help understanding the concepts of these subjects. I graduated from Andrew's University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and have completed some Early Childhood Courses at Ashworth College. My teaching and tutoring experience over the years have allowed me to interact with and help support children with different learning abilities who are on different academic levels. My passion and drive for enabling children to achieve their educational goals is why I chose to become a tutor, and I am confident that my experience, and teaching methods and style will make a tremendous difference.
