Certified Tutor

I am graduate of Hunter College with a Master's degree in Literacy Education. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Childhood education. I have been in education for 10 years in elementary education. I have spent about 5 of those years providing extra support to students through tutoring. I have experience tutoring students in reading and math as well as prepping elementary school students with state exams. With my current position I do have the supports to help students improve their fiction, nonfiction and constructed response skills. Although, I currently teach reading and writing, I do have a strong love for math. I like being able to use different methods to achieve the same results.
