As an aspiring tutor, my passion for helping students stems from a profound belief in the power of education. Witnessing the moment when a concept clicks, or seeing a student gain confidence in their abilities, fuels my commitment to guiding and supporting learners on their academic journey.
My experience in working with students spans several years, both informally as a peer mentor during my undergraduate years and formally as a teaching assistant in a local community center. These interactions have exposed me to diverse learning styles and challenges, enabling me to adapt my teaching methods to cater to individual needs effectively.
I pursued my education at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. Currently, I am pursuing a MBA with the aspiration to delve deeper into this field. I'm committed to lifelong learning, continuously seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge base.
As a tutor, I specialize in Math, due to being naturally talented in the subject from a young age. I find joy in assisting students in unlocking their potential in this area. My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable expressing their concerns and engaging in active learning. I believe in tailoring my tutoring style to meet the unique needs of each student, employing a mix of visual aids, interactive discussions, and practice exercises to reinforce learning.
Beyond academia, I am passionate about keeping my body healthy whether it is through sports or weight training. I also enjoy hiking in nature, simply enjoying my friend's company, and volunteering in the local community. All these activities enrich my life and help maintain a balanced life of being career oriented whilst enjoying my life.
