Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the Autonomous University of Yucatan in Mexico. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering, I have a master's degree in environmental chemistry and a doctorate in chemical and biochemical sciences. Since graduating, I have 12 years of teaching experience at the high school and undergraduate level. I have also taught Spanish to Americans and Canadians who have come to live in Mexico. Although I give private classes on a wide range of subjects, what I am most passionate about is Chemistry and Spanish. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for standardized tests, we always seem to have more fun (with notable gains) preparing for the critical reading and writing portions of the tests. I am a strong advocate of education, believing that it is absolutely necessary to improve the quality of life, and I try to convey this appreciation to all my students. In my free time I enjoy watching soccer, I am a Leo Messi fan, and I love spending time with my family.
