Hello students!
My name is Angel, and I'm excited to help you learn! Writing, music, and Italian are probably my three favorite things in the world, and I can't wait to help you fall in love with them too.

I've studied Italian for over three years. I lived in Italy (Ragusa and Rome) where I gave tours at an art center in English and Italian and translated hour-long Italian speeches into English. Pretty soon, I passed as an Italian, and the locals I met through work were surprised when I told them I was American. After returning to the states, I taught an Italian class for adult beginners in my community. Language tests rank me at level C1, placing me as a fluent Italian speaker.

I've been singing and playing musical instruments for as long as I can remember. In high school, I taught guitar and ukulele lessons to kids in my neighborhood. I took AP Music Theory in 2020, but unfortunately was unable to take the exam due to the pandemic. Since then, I have taken other college level music theory classes.

I chose creative writing as an elective class for all 4 years of high school and had the opportunity to learn from a successful romance author, Rebecca Anderson. I'm currently studying English with an emphasis in Creative Writing at Utah Valley University. After graduation, I hope to become a freelance editor with extra music on the side.
