Working with students and educating them in subjects I enjoy as long been a passion of mine. I enjoy sharing those passions with others. I have several years of experience tutoring high school students in humanities subjects and academic essay writing through online mediums, particularly zoom, and I'm excited to keep doing so through Varsity Tutors.

I am currently a freshman at the George Washington University in Washington D.C. studying international affairs and Arabic, and I will primarily be focusing on tutoring students in academic and research essay writing, and humanities subjects. My teaching style seeks to foster student independence and growth. I encourage students to complete some work before the session, and sessions include continually asking students questions about topics to keep them engaged and structured independent work time after some guidance has been given to build skills and independence. In other words, I like to teach students to fish for themselves, not give them the fish.
