Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of Toledo, and I received my Bachelor of Science in bioengineering. During my undergrad, I interned at the Savannah River National Laboratory in Aiken, South Carolina. I worked on several research projects in the biotechnology department, including hydrocarbon degradation and biosorption experiments. I spent the summer of 2023 in Austin, Texas, working at the Austin Community College Bioscience Incubator. While there, I was a laboratory technician and gave tours to groups of 4th - 12th graders, leading hands-on microbiology activities. I tutor most science and mathematics courses, but I am by far the most passionate about the biological sciences. I find biology fascinating, and my research experience helps bridge the gap between education and "real-world" biological research. In my spare time I enjoy listening to audiobooks and music, playing the drums, and all types of gaming including D&D and videogames.
