Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Savannah State University. I have received my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. I am a graduate of Western Governors University with a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics Education (Secondary). With my fascination with mathematical studies, there was never any doubt that I would choose mathematics as a degree. There is so much joy in problem-solving that mathematics provides. I am certified to teach grades 7th through 12th. In my 25 years of teaching high school mathematics, Algebra and Geometry have been my favorite subjects to teach. My educational philosophy is one term, empowerment. Teach the tools that build confidence in becoming successful mathematics students and great problem solvers.
