I recently graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience. I am currently taking a gap year while I apply to medical school, meaning I have plenty of time to help students achieve their educational goals. Teaching and mentorship were essential parts of my undergraduate experience, as I served as a Rice neuroscience outreach mentor, Peer Academic Advisor, and EMS Education Lieutenant. I am most passionate about tutoring students in biology, physics, and chemistry because these are the subjects I enjoy most, but I am happy to tutor just about anything STEM-related or essay-related. I strongly believe that every student has the potential to understand challenging concepts, and my teaching involve building personal confidence in addition to subject mastery.

In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, and fishing. I recently began running long distances and I am preparing to run my first half marathon in October! I also enjoy reading mystery novels, playing video games, and listening to music.
