As an accomplished student leader and dedicated tutor, I offer a unique blend of academic excellence and community engagement that sets me apart. Serving as the President of Hickman High School Student Government and the Columbia Korean Baptist Church Youth Group, I've honed my organizational and interpersonal skills, successfully leading diverse initiatives and fostering a sense of community. My role as a tutor at Fill Youth School allowed me to develop personalized study programs, resulting in improved test scores, while also emphasizing holistic student development through creative workshops. Through mentoring international students in the Passport For School program, I gained insights into cultural adaptation and the importance of inclusive education. My commitment to community service is evident in my leadership with ForColumbia, overseeing projects from food bank assistance to renovation efforts for those impacted by Covid-19. Volunteering with the Gateway Korea Foundation showcased my cultural competency, contributing to the teaching of Korean culture at a significant festival.
