I graduated from Georgetown University this past May with a B.S. in Global Health and a minor in Disability Studies, and I look forward to beginning medical school in Boston this fall. I have experience tutoring individuals and small groups across a broad range of subjects (math, science, writing, grammar) and have served as a teaching assistant in both mathematics and biology.

To me, meaningful and productive learning begins with connection; I enjoy getting to know my students and seek to foster a comfortable, low-stress environment in which we can work together to capitalize upon strengths and interests, identify challenges, and explore a variety of strategies to maximize learning outcomes and performance. I get a thrill out of exploring new intellectual challenges, and my favorite aspect of the teaching process is finding a way to share that passion with each individual student. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy running, reading (especially sci-fi and fantasy), volunteering, and caring for pets.
