Learning is for a lifetime. Teaching should be student centric and for understanding, not just knowledge. Educators have a unique opportunity to nurture true learning with respect to the abilities of every student. I have always been grateful to be a part of preparing students for the positive and successful future that all deserve. I am a graduate of Mississippi State University. I have continued graduate studies at the University of Southern Mississippi and Mississippi College. I have taught the following subjects: Biology, Advanced Biology, AP Biology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Physical Science, Spanish, English and Writing. I led a STEM Institute as Director of Development and continue to teach and consult. I also spent 14 years in industry as a science education specialist and science education marketing manager.
