Certified Tutor
My mission is to help students understand fundamental mathematical and scientific concepts. I have two years of experience tutoring calculus, and four years of experience tutoring algebra. At the Math and Science Learning center at the University of Nebraska, I tutored algebra, Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, and Physics with and without calculus. Prior to this, I tutored students in math from basic arithmetic to trigonometry at a Kumon after school learning center in Omaha. My approach to tutoring is problem-centered, and I will work out at least one problem with the student during the tutoring session. My favorite subject to tutor is Calculus 1, as it is the foundation to most studies in physical science and engineering.
