Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Mathematics. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Computer Science.

I taught for 3 years at the high school level after obtaining the certification to teach English Literature in both Mississippi and Georgia. My main goal was to prepare students for academic writing at the college level. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a tutor under a middle school interventionist providing accommodations for both math and reading. I worked as a private tutor for two years for both 8th grade pre-algebra and reading.

It is my goal to provide students with the tools they will need to become better readers, writers, and mathematicians!
