I enjoy working with people to help them maximize their potential and to help them meet their goals. Few things in life are as satisfying as helping someone grow as a student of life. My strongest areas of expertise are in English and Writing, though I enjoy History as well. I am certified in several domains in several states. I have a PhD in English Education from the University of Virginia. I have a Masters in English from the University of Tennessee, and a Masters-level endorsement as a Reading Specialist from UNC-Greensboro. I have taught at the K12, community college, high school, undergraduate, and graduate school levels.
