After attaining a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Minor in Philosophy, and Minor in German Culture from Purdue and Indiana Universities, it has been my pleasure to work with students at the high school and college level for eleven years as a classroom instructor and individual tutor.
I have worked with returning adult students, students with disabilities, English as an Other Language students, and general college and high school students.
While I am more passionate than most people about the languages of mathematics, I find my Socratic and dialogue driven teaching style is most effective when the student is engaged with the material, which makes psychology and philosophy sessions some of my favorites.

I have a passion for creative writing and have written several fantasy short stories as well as working on projects as a tabletop RPG game designer. I love working up a sweat and spend a lot of time in physical training, martial arts, and camping. I own a home, and my desire to live more sustainably has resulted in teaching myself a great deal about home weatherization and also becoming a Purdue University certified Master Gardener.
