Certified Tutor

I am a current undergraduate student at Pennsylvania Western University, California Campus, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. I have a love for tutoring and helping students do the best they can, especially in chemistry. I have been passionate about chemistry since high school, and now, in college, I am able to continue my studies. Along with majoring in chemistry at Pennsylvania Western University, I also am an SI (supplemental instruction) leader and have been a TA (teaching assistant). I like to approach tutoring less formally, using flashcards and interactive work, such as completing practice problems on paper and pencil, whiteboards, or chalkboards. As I have learned in my experience as an SI leader, these methods really do work!
I firmly believe that education in the natural sciences is the way to improve the quality of life for our future generations. I also firmly believe that any student can do well in chemistry, as long as we work together hard enough to accomplish this goal.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, and eating ice cream!
