Certified Tutor
I am currently working on a Bachelor's in English with a Language and Literature emphasis and a Bachelor's in Spanish at the University of Sioux Falls (USF) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I hope to move on to nonfiction writing and translation after college. I have experience working with students through summer camp counseling for the YMCA, which included required academic lessons so that the children kept up their education during the summer break from school, and teaching Church School. I will be tutoring English for Varsity Tutors and am extremely excited about that. I am very passionate about reading and writing, and about cultivating those priceless gifts in others. Reading and writing allow humanity to speak through time; they allow us to share stories, philosophies, ideas, and lessons written multiple millennia ago. I am looking forward to helping students better understand the different components of reading and writing, and hopefully fostering a love of learning in all those I tutor!

In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, writing, hiking, playing the piano/composing songs, spending time with family and friends, going to church, and long, scenic car rides.
