The school year is almost complete and I am excited to tutor my favorite subject math. I am currently a 6th grade math teacher in an rural area. Teaching in a rural area is great because of the smaller class sizes; I get to focus on something I value in teaching: getting to know the student as a person. I value to have a safe environment that mistakes are ok to make and that is when we learn. No matter where a student is I always remind them.
