I always wanted to do whatever I could to help my classmates understand and learn the subjects being taught in class. Taking the motherly role in my family to help my sister with learning disabilities, I thrive knowing that I am helping people. I am currently a student at the University of Akron in an Undergraduate BFA program for Painting and Drawing. Do not let my passion for the arts fool you, my favorite subjects have always been math and science ever since I was a little kid. The main subject I will be tutoring is mathematics ranging from Algebra to Pre-Calculus. My learning style is very visual and hands-on and my teaching style reflects that. I try to avoid complex jargon when it is not necessary and use many visual aids to get the main topic, theme, or process of the problem across. I listen to the problems of the student and will always try to put myself into their boots and try to rework the problem from there. Outside mathematics and academics, I enjoy video games, character design, and music.
