I have taught children from ages 3-18 years old. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes from art, english, math, reading, vocabulary and ESL

I earned a B.A. in Human development at the University of California San Diego and have been working in education for over 13 years. At the beginning of my career, I worked extensively with children with autism in home, school and community settings designing programs to help students access the world around them. I am a creative thinker and love to design classes and make my classes fun! When my daughter was born, I became an online ESL teacher. I want to continue my passion teaching children around the world so I am grateful to tutor on Varsity Tutors.

My early background experiences set the foundations for my teaching style. My belief is that building on the foundation of a positive relationship and teaching students in a way that capitalizes on their abilities, strengths and experiences can help improve their learning and achievement. I want your child to build self-confidence, leading to continued learning and success. Lessons are designed to have your student engaged and to love learning.
