I am so thankful to be a wife and a mother, as my family means so much to me. I love to read, and I enjoy writing as well. I am a published author of four children's books, and one novel. I graduated from the Institute of Children's Literature, where I received a diploma in "Writing for Children and Teenagers." I also majored in Child Development at Southeast Community College. I received excellent instruction on how to teach preschool and school-aged children. I am so grateful that I learned so much before I had my own children. Children are such an incredible blessing! I truly believe that helping children learn to read will help them be successful in every area of their life. I enjoy teaching phonics through books, puppets, games, songs, and lots of positive encouragement. Being able to read will fill them with joy, and that will make them want to learn more about this fascinating world in which we live.

I absolutely love being outside with my precious family. We enjoy walking around a nearby, beautiful lake. and our neighborhood as well. We have an adorable Golden Retriever, who I love to play "fetch" with. He is always ready for a hug too, and he just makes me smile. We also have three beautiful cats, and they are very cute and cuddly. I enjoy looking for bargains at our local thrift stores as well. We really love going on vacations and exploring different resorts. Most of all, going anywhere with my amazing family is truly awesome, and I am so thankful for everyone in my life.
