I graduated from Arizona State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education degree. I have previously taught third and fourth grade for seven years. I have taught ELA, math, science, and social studies. I am most passionate about teaching math. During my time in education I consistently used student data to develop my lesson plans and individualize learning. I was successfully able to lead students to exceed state averages on standardized testing scores in both ELA and math. I think it is important to build relationships with my students to meet their individual needs.
