As a graduate of Anthropology from theUniversity of Illinois at Chicago, I look to celebrate culture in all that I do. I am a dedicated tutor who focuses on the specific need of each individual and looks to engage each one through their preferred learning method. I am motivated by the opportunity to help others feel empowered to bridge their language gaps and explore the expanse of their capabilities. I have gained experience in both languages through enculturation, formal tutoring for over 10 years, and field experience as an interpreter. My parents, family, and travels to our home countries are responsible for my foundational Spanish education meanwhile I learned English in school in the US. I also have formal education as I have completed high school AP Spanish classes and continued my education at the collegiate level. But the greatest teaching experience I have is providing at-home education for my 2 young children in both languages.
