I studied both my B.A. in Modern Languages and my M.A. In Applied Linguistics of Spanish as Foreign Language at Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. I am currently in the last stage of my doctoral dissertation in Literature at the University of Montreal.

I have been teaching Spanish in universities in Colombia, Canada and the USA. I have been honored with the opportunity of working with students from different cultures, different accents, and different beliefs. My lessons are a safe space for everybody: neurodivergents, members of the LGBTQ+ community, racialized communities, you are all welcome!

I believe that learning how to interact with the world in Spanish should be the number one goal in the sessions. I also firmly believe that having fun and playing with the language will allow students to better grasp how it unfolds. I love using current metaphors from TV shows, movies, pop culture, the news etc.

Teaching is the only job I have had in my life; it is my absolute passion.
