Certified Tutor

I am currently working toward an undergraduate Honors degree at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where I study International Relations and International Law. I tutor English, History, Politics, and Government, and I can assist students in preparing for a number of AP Exams. As lots of the coursework for my degree centers around Politics and International Relations, I most enjoy tutoring Politics or Government, although I am also a self-proclaimed History enthusiast! I recently completed my Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification, equipping me to teach English at many different levels. I am currently a Peer Mentor at the University of Edinburgh, helping incoming international students adjust to university life in a new country. I previously worked as a Peer Tutor at the High School Academic Program of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), where I received my high school diploma with a concentration in Classical Ballet. I additionally have experience as a Peer Leader at UNCSA's residential program, assisting students with conflict resolution. I look forward to helping students gain knowledge, prepare for tests, and improve their writing skills, all while encouraging them feel more confident and prepared for their classes!
