I am an experienced bilingual teacher who enjoys seeing students thrive and grow! I believe in developing and practicing a growth mindset, knowing that practice and mistakes are all part of the process of learning and mastering a skill. I am a native Spanish speaker and hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Universidad de La Sabana (Bogota, Colombia). I also hold a dual Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Teaching Students with Disabilities as well as an Advance
Certificate in Bilingual Education from Touro University. I have worked with students since I was in High School, providing homework help and tutoring. I have been a classroom teacher for over a decade and have continued helping students outside
of the classroom through after-school programs. My favorite subject to tutor is Languages in general, especially Spanish and English as a new language! I love learning as
well; I am currently learning French and sewing. I love riding my bike, reading and taking
road trips with my family!
