I am an Appalachian State University graduate with a bachelors degree in elementary education and an academic concentration in social studies. I have experience working with grades K-7 and currently teach GED classes at a local community college. While I enjoy tutoring in a variety of subjects, English, social studies, and science are my favorites to work with. I love working with students to set and achieve their goals. I believe that incorporating things that students are interested in aids in setting an individualized learning plan that will set students up for success. I have had great success incorporating Among Us and Fortnite into math with former students. Some things that interest me are yoga, music, and reading.
