Certified Tutor

I have attained my undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign (UIUC). During my undergraduate years, I pursued minors in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics, Computational Science and Engineering, and Business Administration. Moreover, I have also attained a data science certificate. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in Computer Science from Purdue University West Lafayette. I believe, education is the foundation for a capable and analytical mind. Thereby, I am passionate about tutoring as it allows me to interact with like-minded people while sharpening my ability to efficiently translate my knowledge to others. Those that I have tutored, both formally and informally, have regarded me as an amicable, reliable, and dedicated tutor. My teaching philosophy stems from the principle of guiding the student rather than reiterating previously known concepts. I focus more on logical deduction and reasoning rather than feeding the student with memorization techniques. This builds upon their logical reasoning skills and the students are able to retain and apply their desired learning topic. I am able to tutor people in quantitative subjects such as algebra, calculus, statistics, econometrics, computer science, and more. My favorite subject to tutor is computer science as its demand in the workplace environment is increasing rapidly. As an ending remark, I would like to emphasize that I will be a dedicated and sincere tutor.
