I have a B.S in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Early childhood Education from the University of West Alabama. I have a total of 10 years experience in early childhood education. I am currently a First grade teacher in my hometown. I enjoy working with children, watching them learn and grow. Watching students grow is one of the biggest rewards of being an educator. I am also a current member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, Pinnacle Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. I am a trained mentor through Mentor Collective. Mentor Collective, is a program that provides mentors to students in different academic programs at several universities across the nation.
I am most passionate about helping students become confident in their learning. As well as, helping them understand the importance of education.

In my spare time I like to eat, sleep, shop, spend time with family and friends, work with the youth at my church and travel. I also love football. For self-care I like to color, do yoga, read devotionals and go for walks at the park.
