As a dedicated educator with a Master's in Elementary Education, I have over five years of experience as a 4th grade homeroom teacher and four years as a reading specialist for K-5 students. My passion lies in igniting a love for learning, particularly in reading, writing, and history, where I often witness students discover enjoyment in subjects they previously found daunting. I tailor my teaching approach by understanding each student's unique preferences and learning styles, allowing me to develop personalized strategies that foster deeper comprehension. Outside the classroom, I enjoy gardening, running, swimming, and exploring museums, which enrich my ability to bring real-world insights into my tutoring sessions.
