I am a graduate of the University of Houston, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and a minor in Health. A few years later I obtained a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Midwestern State University. Since finishing my master's, I have worked in many aspects of the education field. I was a Physical Education and Health teacher in high school, as well as a tennis coach, for a couple of years. However, for the last many years I have been at the university level teaching study, test taking, and organizational skills. My passion is helping students learn to learn...I love it when I see the lightbulb go on! Teaching health is also a passion of mine. In my spare time I teach indoor cycling and group fitness classes. I also enjoy jogging and cycling.
