Certified Tutor
My passion derives from an early age, I was introduced to education by my now mentors who showed me that learning could be fun and exciting. Around the age of 16 my high school teacher referred me to a daycare, where I originally was just housekeeping. But one day we were short on staff and the director put me in the infant room once she saw my skillset with even just those in such a crucial and critical part of development, she moved me to the VPK program and that's where I learned to really appreciate the human mind and how to nurture it.
As of current I hold and A.S. (Florida State College at Jacksonville) in arts, a B.S. (Georgia State University) in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Early childhood development, and I am now enrolled at Western Governors University where I will be focusing in Special Education.
As a tutor I primarily focus on math subjects but not limited to English, language arts, and reading. But I must say my favorite will have to be math, more so because it's based off equations and once you have a grasp on them you can figure out anything no matter how complexed.
If I had to describe my tutoring style, I'd say it depends on the student. While I want my students to be verse in their learning styles I feel as if I can adapt my teaching to my student's strengths while always improving all other areas.
