Certified Tutor

I have been an educator since 1993. I am certified in English grades 6th 12th, but I have worked with all grade level. I earned a B.A. in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University. I earned a M.A. in English from Nova Southeastern University (NSU). I have some doctoral work in higher education and curriculum instruction. I teach 11th and 12th grade English, and I teach SAT, ACT, GRE at Florida Atlantic University.
I believe learning should be a process that is tailored to the individual student. For this to be achieved, a variety of learning options should be offered. Some students are drawn to words, other students pictures, while even more may need audio or a hands on learning experience. Regardless of style or preference of learning, gaining knowledge is a valuable commodity that I hope to encourage students to take full advantage of by understanding that we are all lifelong learners.
