I am from a teaching family.
My mother taught elementary and middle school in the United States for 38 years and then "retired" to Honduras and promptly opened a school for middle-school-age students where she taught for 17 more years. As that school grew, I joined as a teacher and director of the school.
I have been teaching students for 30 years, in subjects ranging from phonics to history, from prose to music, from business to computers.
My style is all about communication. No subject is "too hard" and no idea cannot be taught as long as we work together to find the language that resonates with the student and brings the ideas into focus.
