I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Chemistry and minor in Math form Bowling Green State University. In addition, from Toppenish University, I earned a master's degree in education and teacher certification. I have taught math at the middle and high school levels for 15 years. Subjects I have taught are, 7th and 8th grade math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 & 2, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. My passion is teaching students how to understand mathematical concepts. I use the constructive/conceptual approach to build the student(s) understanding of the math concept, next we will apply this understanding to the math application or algorithms.
I have tutored students for family and friends. The students have been so appreciative of my approach to helping them understand.
