By teaching to mastery, I will use my 25+ years of teaching expertise to develop a confident grasp of concepts related to your academic goals. Whether in the area of language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, or practical life skills, I have been afforded the lifelong privilege to work with students to achieve tangible results. Having taught as the lead teacher in a conventional classroom for ten years, I regularly use my professional skills to tutor outside the schoolhouse. In addition, I have been afforded the opportunity to collectively teach over 6,000 English online classes. By instructing and mentoring with a wide variety of techniques, my students have been able to escalate their knowledge base and develop into confident learners. FIVE FUN FACTS! 1) I have 25+ years of teaching experience from elementary to high school. I am a current 5th grade teacher to a fantastic group of students! 2) Family: My amazing husband and I have five wonderful kids, two amazing kids-n-law, and two sweet grandbabies! We also love our pug dog! Did I tell you that I also have six sisters? (I recognize that I am fortunate!) 3) We are a retired military family and have lived all over the globe. 4) Our four older kids were homeschooled. They have all graduated from college and are pursuing advanced degrees related to their field of work. 5) Hobbies: I like to run (12 marathons!), bake, travel, and volunteer in our community. Bonus: I cannot wait to journey with you!
