Certified Tutor

I am a mechanical engineer who is passionate about using my skills and knowledge to make the world a better place. I currently work in green energy, specifically on developing technology for the decarbonization of mining and industrial equipment. I received bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Michigan, where I was a graduate student instructor and machine shop trainer. Despite my choice of studies, I have often been frustrated with own my math and science class experiences, and how often I see one bad class/teacher/experience ruin a student's self-confidence or passion. I have the most experience in math and science, but I can also help out with English, introductory Spanish, or test prep. Outside of work, I play ice hockey, volunteer for Seattle's Youth Tutoring Program, read, and occasionally hike/bike/run.
