I have been tutoring math and computer science subjects for 2 years. A method that I have stuck by since the beginning of my tutoring journey is my effort to make my lessons engaging and interactive. This engagement provides my students with an incentive to learn the respective material which helps them retain the information more effectively and efficiently. At the beginning of my lessons, I usually try to introduce the topic that my student is going to learn in a fun way. I then go on to explicitly teach my student the material and follow that up with a bunch of practice problems. However, this is just a template and I adjust this template based on the specific needs of each of my students. I also establish a welcoming and light environment so that my students wouldn't hesitate in asking questions about the material or about anything in general.

I have been tutoring Calculus AB (1) and BC (2) for over a year now. I am well-qualified to teach this subject as I have received perfect scores on the AP exam for both subjects. Due to the fact that Calculus is relatively harder than most other math subjects, I really take the time to make sure that my student has a strong understanding of each topic before moving on to the next. Along with Calculus, I have been tutoring in SAT Math for 2 years. I am also well-qualified to teach this as I have received a perfect score (800) on the SAT math section. I am extremely familiar with each topic on the math portion of the SAT test can guarantee my students a 700+ score.

I have been tutoring in swift for a year. I have developed 6 full-fledged and advanced iOS applications that were all coded with Apple's proprietary programming language swift. My lessons with swift are taught through the building of an application. This means that by the end of the tutoring sessions, my students not only end up being experts in swift, but they also end up with an advanced iOS application!
