I have been teaching for 50 years. I was a
Junior High Language Arts teacher for 35 years. I also, am an adjunct
professor at Wayne County Community College District. I have been there
for 47 years. I am currently on staff. I teach reading and writing. I teach
more writing than reading. I love teaching. I still have a vast connection
with many of my former students.
In my spare time, I am a Prostate Cancer Advocate at the Karmanos
Cancer Institute for the past 15 years. I enjoy my family, traveling and
laughing. Laughing is a requirement for all of my classes.
School in my opinion is a place to be. A place to have fun and learn. A
place where you do not want to miss every opportunity to learn. Learning
is fundamental.
