I am a proud graduate of Valdosta State University and Georgia State University. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from VSU and my Master of Mathematics Education from GSU. I completed alternative teacher certification by completing GA Tapp so my perspective on education is unique. I have 7 years of teaching and tutoring experience from 8 - 12 grade mathematics.

In my experience, I have had the opportunity to support gifted, general, and special education students as well as ELL students and students with 504 plans. While I value education, I am always looking to improve the current status of education, make mathematics engaging, and build students' self efficacy in the math classroom. I am passionate about supporting learners to have a positive mathematical identity.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family and resting with my cats.
