Hello! I'm Mrs. Samantha! I'm a fun loving teacher from North Carolina! I graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan with a Batchelor's degree in Middle Grades English and History. I've worked with middle school students since 2017. The best thing about teaching is seeing students grasp and enjoy what they are learning! I wanted to become a teacher ever since I was in Middle School. My teachers were so BORING! I wasn't succeeding to the best of my ability because I would lose focus. Middle school is a tough time and I wanted to make it easier and more exciting for students. I use a variety of games and activities for students to use and create to help understand the material, but also so they can enjoy learning! My favorite subjects to teach are Reading and History - which is why I got my degree in Middle School English and History. You can always explore new books to get lost in and you can travel back in time to the start of history! I love to use imagination when working with students! I want to push them to be creative and to activate their critical thinking skills to enhance their reading and history potential! I love to read in my free time and I also enjoy visiting historical sites around the country!
