I have a master's degree in Language and Literacy - Reading Specialist from Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have a teaching license in Elementary Education, Teaching English as a Second Language, and Reading. I have taught as a classroom teacher for 2 years and as a Reading Specliast for 2 years in elementary schools. I am passionate about teaching all areas of literacy - fluency, comprehension, writing, vocabulary and word work. I believe that by helping students become strong readers and writers, they are able to reach their full potential in other content areas as well. In my spare time, I like to play the piano, cook, and watch movies.
