Every student experiences a class or subject that seems overwhelming. I've been there, and I've learned over the years that one of the best things to do in that situation is reach out to tutors for help! I myself used Varsity Tutors as a high school student and cannot emphasize enough how much it helped me.

I am a student at the University of Connecticut, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology (which is also my favorite subject). I cover a wide range of subjects (social sciences, natural sciences, english, math) and have tutored in secondary, elementary, and early learning settings (especially in mathematics). I also have several years of experience working with children.

I believe any academic concept can be taught to any student, as long as it is visualized in the way that reaches the student the best. I place a lot of importance on visual learning, diagrams, and analogies.

Other than biology, I have a passion for drawing, playing the piano, running, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors.

One big thing about me is that I love being around others! I am very social and extroverted, and prefer spending time with friends and family. I enjoy working with children as well. When I am not doing schoolwork, I like to go on runs and walks with my friends (or alone, if I need to relax :)). I’m also interested in quieter activities such as drawing, playing the piano, and reading.
